A polymath designer who thinks big and starts small.

We’re looking for a versatile designer to join our team. It’s a uniquely challenging role because it’s not just about designing a website, but a system that lets others design websites. This is a role for someone who relishes a systems-level perspective; who doesn’t just work well with constraints but who wants to define those constraints.

Beyond designing our tool, this person will help steward our brand. What does Universe feel like?

Prerequisites. This person should have experience designing mobile tools. They should be comfortable with code. Most importantly, they should be able to think deeply about what makes a design work, or not, and articulate why clearly to everyone involved.
